Lemonade

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade right?  Well life just handed us a bunch of sour lemons.  We have joined in with the rest of the unemployed world.  We are just getting over the shock of it all. And word is now getting out that we are those people. You know the ones with out a job, the jobless, neighbors.  So not the easiest thing to tell people either.  For example the neighbor across the street that works at the hospital that your husband has privileges at. It's like, oh by the way,  the clinic let my husband go.  And you know who his boss was right?  Yeah it's a small town where everyone knows your business and that includes who works where and who is not working.  So this is the story of our economic recession.

In other news we just celebrated our 18th anniversary, though there was not much celebrating done. It's is hard to go out and live carefree when all you can think about are kids and bills. August 12th is the first day of no work. Otherwise known as our anniversary. August 13 was also the day of the company annual clinic that we were no longer invited to even though we RSVP.  Life will probably throw in some new surprises. Let's hope not all of them will be sour.
